Cinderella Birthday Party Sneak Peek

I'm knee deep in planning Madeline's 3rd Birthday Party at the moment.  The theme could have been anything this year as her interests are wide and varied.  She absolutely loves gingerbread men and gingerbread houses (we could have had an awesome baking/decorating party), she adores farm animals - especially little baby chicks and ducks (I'm thinking hay bales and red gingham), she thinks Playdoh is the best (a big long table of tools so we could craft the afternoon away) and she is obsessed with books (the options here are endless) but when we asked her a few weeks ago what kind of party she wanted she said... Cinderella.

I can't say I was overjoyed at planning a princess party.  Every single girls party that we have been to in the last year has either been princess themed, fairy themed or a combination of the two.  I know the girls are of that age but it gets a little repetitive.

As I've mentioned before, I'm not huge on character themed parties.  But I do love watching the original version of Disney's Cinderella so I'm focusing on that instead of the typical princess stuff.

I didn't have time to design my own invites this year so I enlisted the help of Anders Ruff and their Fairy Tale printables which has worked out brilliantly.  They have an invite for every theme and it's such a cheap and easy way to get things underway.

I don't have a lot of time on my hands this year so I'm focusing making things as easy as I can and spending as little as possible.  I look forward to sharing all my tips and tricks with you along the way.
