Best Ever Asparagus in less than 10 Minutes
This asparagus is amazing, and definitely not clean eating. The flavour is melt in your mouth amazing! And best of all, it is so quick and easy.
1 bunch fresh asparagus, washed
1 cup water
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1-2 tablespoons fresh grated parmesan cheese
Snap the woody ends of the bottom of the Asparagus.
Place Asparagus in a pot which is large enough for the spears to lay flat.
Add water and place on a high heat on a stove top element.
Cook covered on high for 4-6 minutes until just tender.
Gently shake the pot half way through cooking.
When cooked, strain any remaining cooking liquid.
Return Asparagus in pot to the element.
Add butter, garlic salt and grated parmesan cheese and saute until the butter and cheese are melted and lightly browned.
Serve and enjoy x
The meatballs shown in the picture are another fantastically easy recipe which kids and adults both love. They are so moreish. And they are oven baked which makes a nice change too. I'll be uploading the meatball recipe in the next day or two x
