Coco & Ginger

And the winner is "eingenel".  Congratulations!!!  Please message me so we can arrange to have these beautiful shorts sent out to your girls.  Thank you so much to everyone who entered xxx

I love kids fashion.  I can't count how many times I wished my daughters pint sized clothes came in my size.  One kids brand which I totally adore is Indonesian based Coco & Ginger.

I fell in love with the brand back in 2010 after Madeline was born and I had some clothes sent over from Australia.  Here is that little chubba bubba at 5 months old wearing a Coco & Ginger broderie anglaise sunsuit.  It's now safely packed away in my baby trousseau to hand on to my girls when they're mothers one day x

My own personal clothing style has always leaned towards vintage, retro, boho and beachy so it comes as no surprise that I find Coco & Ginger so appealing for my girls.  The Coco & Ginger Spring/Summer 2014/2015 range is no exception.  The new season "Flower Child" range captures what I feel is the essence of childhood and why I started my blog in the first place.

"The latest collection from Coco & Ginger, Flower Child, captures the spirit of a magical childhood spent amid seashells, dream catchers, daisy chains and feathers.  The Flower Child learns from nature and gets lost in the whimsy of her own imagination, playing in the garden with fairies that only she can see.  She's the child with a sun-kissed nose... limbs bronzed after a summer in the sun, salty hair looped into a messy bun, or dangling in Heidi plaits that sway as she skips up a grassy hill on her way home, happily tired out after a day at the beach".

The new season range is characterised by bold prints, bright colours, flowing fabrics and delicate trims.  Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the Flower Child range...

Gypsy Maxi in Purple and Mango Tahitian Garden Patch
