New Products

Little Housewife have had several new shipments of product arrive in the last month.

Cupcake Wraps from Sweetie Pie
There has been huge demand for our Cupcake Wraps since we started importing them so we thought we better broaden our range.  We have a gorgeous new range of Cupcake Wraps from Sweetpie.  They are reversible and lightly laminated so you can wipe them down and reuse them.  The range has some fabulous designs including jungle animals (with a zebra stripe reverse), dinosaurs (with a dinosaur egg reverse), boys toys (with a train reverse) and fairies (with a crown reverse).  They are ideal for baby showers and kids birthday parties.  Check them out here.

Wooden Beach Signs
Hand painted beach signs from the Banana Patch Studio on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.  These gorgeous wooden signs will make a stylish beach themed addition to your home or batch.  Available in a range of different designs including "Gone to the Beach", "Gone Surfing", "Beach House", "Please Remove Shoes" and my favourite "Relax", each sign is strung with two rows of tiny hermit shells for hanging in your favourite spot.  View the range here.

Marshmellow Patchwork and Candy Stripe Quilts and Cushions
It's been a long wait but they are finally here!  Little Housewife introduces the Marshmellow Patchwork and Candy Stripe Quilts and coordinating cushions.  The upper side is a mass of pink and white stripe, polka dot, gingham and floral fabric "puffs" that resemble marshmellows and the reverse is pink and white candy stripes.  Available in a cot quilt, a bed quilt and small cushions, this is a must for every pretty nursery or little girls bedroom.  You can view more information about this range here.

Flower Girl and Tooth Fairy Bags
Hand decorated with tiny pink rose buds, these little white smocked bags make the perfect thank you gift for your Flower Girl.  Fill with sweets (dolly mix is always lovely) for an extra treat.  Then, later she can fill with all her treasured trinkets.  Or, they also make a beautiful bag for the tooth fairy.  What a lovely way to wake up and find money under your pillow!  Click here to purchase.

Red Polka Dot Napkins
Just arrived!  Red Polka Dot Fabric Napkins.  The list of occasions where these will fit perfectly are endless.  What a way to brighten up any table arrangement!  View them here.

Little Housewife now also have beautiful Damask Napkins available for purchase.  We get asked about them on a regular basis from brides who are arranging their own weddings receptions as well as guests who want to give the couple a set of fine napkins.  We offer two different designs.  You can view more information about the Damask Napkins on our Event Planning page.

Very Clever Little Housewife Customers

Finally, a lot of you have very kindly forwarded us photos of the cookies you have made using the Little Housewife Cookie Cutters.  I can honestly say that we are SO impressed by the talent that is out there.  You have all done the most amazing job.  Below is a picture from Amy in Auckland who made the most amazing Onesie Cookies to give to guests as they left her baby shower.  Don't they look fantastic!  The packaging is just gorgeous!  She really did the most amazing job.

I also wanted to give a mention to Room 9 at St Dominics School.  This class of 6 and 7 year old have been learning about the "Olden Days" and used the Little Housewife Dolly Pegs to make Peg Dolls with long dresses and hats just like the children in the olden days wore.  It looks like they had a fantastic time making them and I hope you enjoy the pictures they sent through to us.

We have now launched the Little Housewife Gallery where we will upload everyones lovely photos.  We'd love to see what you have been up to so please feel free to email us your photos at littlehousewife@windowslive.com so we can include them for everyone to see.

I hope you've all had a lovely August so far and are enjoying the lighter evenings.  Not long until day light savings!

Warm Regards
